Brad Elrod

Brad Elrod is the Director for Global Conveyance Security at Pfizer. Brad has over 25 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, and has worked fourteen of those years with cargo security programs; ever since 9/11 events raised the concern and awareness. Brad has established cargo and supply chain security programs for Pfizer globally, working closely with partners in the United States, Europe, Latin America and Asia in support of government programs and with Law Enforcement agencies to prevent tampering and disruption of supply chains. His responsibilities include managing the CBP Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism, TSA Certified Cargo Screening Program, and the new FDA Secure Supply Chain Pilot Program within Pfizer. Pfizer is a Tier 3 CTPAT Partner, and has 9 sites validated under the Certified Cargo Screening Program. Brad has served on the Board of Directors for the Transported Asset Protection Association, and is active with the Pharmaceutical Cargo Security Coalition and Rx-360. He also represents Pfizer’s Global Logistics & Supply organization as a member of their Supply Chain Security Leadership Team. Prior to work in the pharmaceutical industry, Brad served as an Infantry Officer in the US Army at various assignments. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and has an Executive Masters of Technology Management Degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
