Brian Tarantino

Brian Tarantino heads Merck’s Global Product Serialization Initiative, which is implementing product serialization for Merck’s operations around the globe.  This multi-year transformation involves nearly all internal and external packaging sites that supply Merck’s markets, the realization of a global IT infrastructure, and changes to how our distribution centers operate.  Brian has held this role since 2012.  Prior to this position he worked in Merck’s Sigma area, leading process improvement and change management in manufacturing, marketing, product development, and across most of Merck’s business.  He has worked in engineering and environmental and safety roles.  Brian holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University, a Masters of Business Administration from Lehigh University, and is a certified Master Black Belt in Lean and process improvement.
