Paul Nelson

Paul Nelson joined Auxilium Pharmaceuticals in 2014 as Executive Director, Supply Chain Operations.  Auxilium has subsequently been acquired by Endo Pharmaceuticals. Paul has over twenty five years of pharmaceutical industry experience in Supply Chain, Production, and Engineering.  In his current role, Paul is responsible for the coordination of all activities related to maintaining the supply chain for all clinical and commercial products, from sourcing through delivery.  Paul directs production planning, scheduling, inventory management, technical material procurement, CMO contract and business relationship management for all our products.  Prior to joining Auxilium, Paul worked for Shire Pharmaceuticals, where he spent the last ten years and was most recently responsible for Supply Chain Operational Excellence and Transformational Change.  Prior to Shire, Paul held senior level roles at UCB Bioproducts, Inc., UCB Pharma, and Day Engineering.  Paul possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from Kentucky State University, a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kentucky, and an M.B.A. in International Business from the University of South Carolina.
