Vance Moore is senior vice president—operations of Mercy Health. Vance joined Mercy Health in April 2002 after 17 years in health care with Baxter/Allegiance, Cardinal Health and the health care division of the UPS Logistics Group. His career has included operational and sales roles in health care consulting, distribution, manufacturing, third party logistics and provider operations. In his prior role with Mercy, Vance served as president and CEO of Resource Optimization & Innovation (ROi), Mercy’s supply chain division and globally recognized as a leader in health care supply chain management.

Today, Vance is Chairman of the Board for ROi and has corporate oversight responsibilities of Mercy Technology Services (MTS), Operational Performance Acceleration, Clinical Performance Acceleration, and Performance Analytics. Recently, Vance was asked to organize and lead Project Noah’s Ark which brings together a small group of diverse leaders from across Mercy tasked with redesigning care to a quality standard, to a service expectation, and to a price point.

Additionally, Vance is a board member of the Strategic Marketplace Initiative (SMI), The Bellwether League (healthcare supply chain hall of fame), Mercy ACO Clinical Services, Inc and Omnicell Incorporated (NASDAQ: OMCL).

Vance has a bachelor’s degree in industrial management from the University of Arkansas.
